Santa Catalina District

Kurobota

Since we're on a bit of a cocktail kick lately we couldn't resist but trying a few of the very creative options on the menu. The Sencha Meets Elderflower was the perfect balance of healthy and fun as it felt like you were dining with The Mad Hatter himself. Tea Cup not included!

The menu is concise with all plates for sharing, making this the perfect date night spot.

Appetite

We enjoyed the dumplings which almost melted once you put them in your mouth, the pasta dough was perfection and also dyed black! Both of the bao buns (we cannot resist them) one with pork belly and the other with soft shell crab, finishing with the marinaded tuna for something light and fresh.

Date Night set the two of us back 70,00euros. One of us had 2 cocktails and they are the same price as one plate so it depends where your priorities lie.

Where to Stay

Mallorca has so many accommodation options ... but here are some of my favourites.

Es Turo

This is a family friendly hotel, with it's own Restaurant and very large pool on premises, so you won't want to leave.

Our LTMTip: You should bring your own hairdryer, as what is provided in the rooms is very old and you wouldn't want to use. Make sure to check out the local market in Santanyi on Saturday morning, it gets very crowded so try to go early.

La Casa Dos

Tucked away down a narrow path and getting here is a bit of a maze, especially if it is your first time in the village. But quickly you will realize that all paths lead to the main road and in the center you have a few lovely cafes and very small grocer to pick up the essential provisions for your stay. The home is built on 3 levels and the rooms follow the sun, having your coffee in the morning on the sun drenched terrace is truly the perfect wake up!
